WANDA R. CHRISTOPHERSON
February 28, 1943 —
She was born in LaJolla California to Oran and Lottie Fonville of Texas.
Wanda grew up in Riverside, California; where she graduated from Ramona
High School. She married Chris Christopherson in Riverside and they were
married June 15, 1963, they moved to Mountain Grove, Mo., where they
lived for four years, then moved to Yakima, Washington in 1967 where they
have lived since. Wanda attended New Hope Chapel Church for over 30 years; where she
held the position of a Sunday School Teacher and Sec./Treasurer.
Wanda loved to work in her yard, scrap booking, needle point and many
other craft projects. Wanda worked at different jobs in Yakima; the job she most enjoyed was
working for the Church and the Pentecostal Church of God District Office,
where she held the position of Administrative Assistant to the Bishop.
Wanda is survived by her husband Chris Christopherson and sons Rick
Christopherson of Yakima, and Allen Christopherson of Montana and five
grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Brother's William
& Herman, Sister's Melba, & Velta. Wanda did not want flowers or a memorial service; she would love for those
who want to remember her to give to the Humane Society of the United
States, 2100 L. Street, NW, Washington, DC 20037.
