Virginia Mae Bradbury (Trosky), 96, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025 in Prosser, Washington.
Born on May 20, 1928 in Spokane, Washington, Virginia lived a life filled with dedication, warmth, and an unwavering commitment to her family and career. Over the years, she held various roles that showcased her diligence and leadership. She worked as a bank teller at US Bank and Yakima Federal bank before embarking on a successful career in real estate. For three decades, she served as a real estate broker and was the president of Washington State Farm and Land, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
After retirement, Virginia dedicated time to social events and clubs such as the Red Hat Ladies group, and the Prosser Rotary Club, among others!
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Virginia had many passions that brought her joy. She had an eye for capturing life’s moments through photography-taking pictures everyday of everything around her! In her younger years, she enjoyed sewing and lovingly made clothing for her children. She also found great satisfaction in cooking, and she enjoyed canning fruits, vegetables and jams each year. A true adventurer at heart, Virginia was a world traveler who cherished her trips to places such as Africa, Amsterdam, and her favorite, New Orleans. However, above all else, she treasured time spent with her family and her grandchildren - her favorite past time of all.
Virginia was known for her kindness, positivity, and ever-present smile. She never spoke ill of anyone and always found the silver lining in every situation. Her cheerful nature and loving spirit made her not only a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but also a dependable friend to many. She cherished her time with her friends over a hot cup of coffee!
She always took pride in her appearance - always dressed elegantly with jewelry to match! - and carried herself with grace throughout her life.
She is survived by her son Cal Bradbury; daughter Nina Bradbury; granddaughter Amy Munn and husband Spencer Munn; great-grandchildren Hailey Munn, Sawyer Munn, and Ivy Munn; sister Vera Brooks along with her children and grandchildren; and cousin Jake Roth with his family; and niece Pauline Clyburn.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Calvin Bradbury; parents MaryAnn Elizabeth Meyers Trosky and Henry Trosky; brother David Trosky along with his wife Irene Trosky.
Virginia’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to have shared in her life.
