Tammy Larae Atkinson, age 58 of Prosser, entered into rest on November 15, 2018 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. She was born on September 24, 1960 to Paul Dana and Verla Marie (Lewis) Atkinson in Hermiston, Oregon. She was raised in Pendleton, Oregon where she lived until moving to Prosser in 2004.
After graduating from high school, Tammy attended Blue Mountain Community College on an art scholarship.
Tammy enjoyed attending church at Sun Terrace. She was very artistic and enjoyed drawing and painting. She also enjoyed raising fish at home.
Tammy is survived by her mother, Verla Holmes of Prosser; brothers, Don Atkinson of Pendleton and Mark Atkinson of Spokane; and her sister Roxie Garske of Great Falls, Montana. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Atkinson and sister, Sherri Edmonds.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
