Sara Jo Gillespie/Besancon, Riecken, 64, passed away October 26, 2014 in Clarkston, Washington.
Sara was born in Prosser, Washington on August 27, 1950 to Jack E. Gillespie and Joanne P. Bunger. She grew up in the Yakima Valley and later moved to the Spokane area. She enjoyed gardening, reading, a clean house and spending time with her family.
Sara is survived by her husband, Neil Riecken of Rockford; children, Jodi Morris (Justin) of Colville, Ryan Oswalt (Kristal) of Prosser, and Charley Slagg (Dusty) of Clarkston; grandchildren, Wyatt Oswalt, Jacob Morris, Harley Oswalt, Kayla Morris, Jackson Slagg, and Emmett Slagg; mother, JoAnne Bunger of Spokane; sisters, Peggy Maxwell (Jack) of Yakima and Gena Slagg (Ron) of Yakima and Jonni Hardin (Bob) of Spokane; Sara is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sara was preceded in death by her father, Jack E. Gillespie and her brother, Jack W. Gillespie.
Services will be held on Saturday November 8th at 11:00 a.m. at The Friendship Baptist Church located at 1801 Paterson Road Prosser, Washington 99350.
