Sabine Mary Shawley, age 55, entered into rest on June 9, 2016 at her home in Prosser. She was born on June 18, 1960 in Schoneberg, Germany to Wilhelm and Alice (Hedig) Knappek. and was raised and educated in Mabton. Sabine and Timothy Wayne Shawley were married on July 6, 1991 in Reno, Nevada and the couple made their home in Prosser.
Sabine was an avid sports fan and very athletic. She participated in softball, volley ball, and basketball and was a loyal Seahawk and Husky fan. Most of all, she love being at home spending time her husband. She was a cosmetologist for a short time until disability forced her to retire.
Sabine is survived by her husband, Tim Shawley of Prosser; her siblings, Mary, Frank, Connie, Ute, Doug, George, Alice and Sarah; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Carol Shawley and sisters-in-law Chris Dugger and Tammy Shawley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wolfgang Knappek.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Prosser Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 17, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Prosser Funeral Home. You may leave an online message of condolence for the family at www.prosserfuneralhome.com
