Ruby was a member of the Prosser High School Class of 1948 and maintained a life-long friendship with her dear friend Florence. The stories abound of their laughter and support for one another throughout her life. She treasured each of her children, her blessings she called us. She gave us her unconditional love. She stood determinedly behind each and every person she loved with a smile, a ready hug and firmness when needed! Her flute, her whistle, love of family gatherings and games around the kitchen table will always be remembered. She was a wonderful woman and mother. She has always been an inspiration to all of us and we will miss her dearly.

A celebration of her life will be on April 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church located on the hill above the Prosser Cemetery. We will begin in the church for our celebration, followed by graveside service and convene back at the church for refreshments and an informal time with family and friends.

Donations in her memory can be made to Chaplaincy Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99336. You may leave a message for the family at www.Prosserfuneralhome.com
