Refugio M. Garcia, age 75, entered into rest on March 25, 2016 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. He was born to Pablo and Maria Arcadia (Munoz) Garcia on July 4, 1940 in Jalisco, Mexico where he was raised and educated.
Refugio and Josefa Hurtado were married in Jalisco on July 5, 1960. They later settled in the Prosser area where they have lived for forty-two years. Refugio was a farm worker in the agriculture industry.
Refugio enjoy fishing, singing, and watching TV (especially boxing). Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on June 30, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church in Prosser. Concluding services and burial will follow at the Prosser Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday at Prosser Funeral Home. Recitation of the Rosary is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:00 PM
