Peter John Petersen entered into rest on March 4, 2024 at his home in Prosser. He was born to Walt and Alma (Hoenike) Petersen on January 16, 1951 in Kirkland, Washington. In 1963 the family relocated from Carnation to Prosser, Washington where Pete graduated from Prosser High School in 1969. He owned and operated Sno-Valley Dairy until his death. He was the Gold Medal winner of the National FFA Dairy Judging Contest in Kansas City. Peter also worked as a mechanic for Grandview Automotive.
Peter is survived by his sisters, Ellen Haarsma of Grandview and Elsie Petersen of Bonney Lake; his bother, Jerry Petersen of Troy, Montana; four nephews and 1 niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Petersen.
