Marjorie Stallcop, age 76, entered into rest on April 13, 2012 at her home in Prosser. She was born on March 11, 1936 to William and Katherine (Arnes) Reinke in Winlock, Washington where she was raised and educated. Marjorie and Robert Lawrence Stallcop were married on October 15, 1955 in Winlock, Washington. They made their first home in Longview, Washington. Then they lived in Huson, Montana for four years. Next they lived in Puyallup and Graham . They returned to Montana and lived in Arlee. In 1976 they settled in Prosser. Marjorie owned and operated a beauty salon in Benton City and also out of her home in Prosser.
Marjorie loved family gatherings, her pets and working in her flower garden.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Vickie Lester and her husband, Forrest of Missoula, Montana, Vernon Stallcop and his wife, Teresa of Prosser, Valerie Markland and her husband, Karl of Finley and Vivian Vaughn of Prosser; her grandchildren, Michael Lester and his wife Marie, Wyatt Lester and his wife, Chantelle, Shawna Lester, James Stallcop and his wife, Carisa, Joshua Stallcop and his wife, Kristin, Christina Seimears and her husband, Shane and Kasey, Kayla and Kyler Markland; and her great-grandchildren, Michael and Forrest Lester, Keara, Samantha, Haley, Nicholas and Samuel Lester, Vickie and Forrest Lester, Madison, Levi and Allison Stallcop, Hayleigh, Page and Jenna Stallcop and Emmery and Jakobey Seimears. She is also survived by her sister, Angela Fauland of Longview, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Lawrence Stallcop, 2008 and her granddaughter, Crystal Vaughn in 2000.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Prosser Funeral Home. Concluding services and burial will follow at the Prosser Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, April 19 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Prosser Funeral Home.
