Kayden Michael Burns, 13, of West Richland, passed away on March 1, 2014 at his home.
Kayden was born on April 20, 2000 in Prosser to Michael Moore Burns and Tracy Lea (Byrne) Burns. He was raised and educated in West Richland and was currently in eighth grade at Enterprise Middle School where he played football, baseball and was on the wrestling team. Away from school sports, he enjoyed riding his dirt bike, paintball and skateboarding. Kayden was a member of Neighborhood Church in Sunnyside.
Kayden is survived by his mother, Tracy Burns of West Richland; his father, Michael Burns of Sunnyside; and his sisters, Taylor Burns and Autumn Burns of West Richland. He is also survived by his grandparents, Shirley Burns of Sunnyside, Terry Byrne of West Richland; and Bobby Byrne and Kim Melius of Richland; his great-grandparents, Mary and Irv Long of Sunnyside and Florence Fayard of Prosser; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Terry Burns; and great-grandparents, Merlin and Rita Byrne and Richard Fayard.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 pm , Saturday March 15, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Prosser WA.
