Juan “Johnny” Santoy, passed away in Prosser, WA on December 17, 2024. He was born June 10, 1969, in Prosser to Eliberta and Manuel Santoy. He was a lifelong resident of the Benton City / Prosser area.
Johnny had a childhood full of great times with friends and family. He especially had fond memories of his cousins Junior, David, and Larry whom he always considered his brothers.
In high school he excelled in football and track for the Prosser Mustangs. After school he began a 22yr. career with Burlington Northern Railroad. He later worked in the hospitality business as a maintenance technician.
Johnny married on September 21, 1996, and moved to Benton City where he and his wife had a home and raised four greatly loved children.
He was a lifelong fan of the Seattle Seahawks. He loved watching every Sunday with his family. Perhaps our favorite memories are of watching the Seahawks win their way to the Super Bowl.
He was famous for his BBQ ribs. He loved gathering every weekend with his family and enjoyed his mother’s cooking.
He will be greatly missed by his family. We ask that you continue to pray for his soul.
