On Wednesday, October 4, 2017, John Colter passed away in Prosser, Washington after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born August 2nd, 1934 on a farm in Bald Knob, Arkansas, John has made his home in Prosser since 2008.
John was passionate about photography, eating out, road trips and serving as the greeter at the Prosser Nazarene Church. John never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife of ten years, Margaret Hart; his son Jeffrey (and Naomi) Colter; as well as Margaret’s family, and their many friends and neighbors. A memorial service is being held at the Prosser Nazarene Church on Friday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. You may leave a message for the family at www.Prosserfuneralhome.com
