Jerry Carl Peal, Jr.

d. May 21, 2014

Jerry Carl Peal, Jr. entered into rest on May 21, 2014 in Sunnyside. He was born on February 10th, 1958 also in Sunnyside.
J.C. spent most of his youth in the lower valley area and started working as a young adult in various fields in the Prosser and Grandview area. J.C. had many hobbies, although he especially enjoyed working on cars. He taught himself to work on any car and you would always find him in his garage working on his next project. He also taught his sons his love of being a mechanic and was able to pass that talent on to them. J.C. also enjoyed working on motorcycles and had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He enjoyed going for rides with his brother, Bob, on their Harley's.
J.C. had a big heart and was very knowledgeable in many subjects, People would go to him to ask how to fix something and J.C. would be there to help them and often end up fixing it himself. He genuinely cared for his family and friends, especially his sons. He would spend time with them and they would talk for hours about cars, motorcycles and all of their own passions. Quite often a ten minute visit would turn into a five hour session of talking and working on cars with his boys. He was happiest when he was able to spend that time with all three of his sons. J.C. also loved listening to music, classic cars and going out with friends. He recently was often with his sister, Cherie, who would make sure he was taken care of and helped him in many ways. We would like to thank her for her generosity and kind heart and for making sure J.C. had a place to call home. J.C. will be greatly missed and thought of often.
J.C. is survived by his son, Jerry Christopher Peal, Jr. and his wife, Olivia and their children, Anthony and Karly Peal of Prosser, son, Jason Timothy Peal and his wife, Carina and their children, Isaac and Isabella Peal of Prosser; and son, Zachary Peal of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by his mother, Mavis McKeen of Grandview; his father, Jerry Carl Peal, Sr. of Scappoose Or; brother, Robert Peal of Yakima, brother, Richard McKeen of Longview; sister, Cheryl Rodriguez of Sunnyside and sister, Sue Mulford of Deer Park.
A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday May 30th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Prosser Funeral Home, 1220 Sheridan Ave in Prosser. A luncheon will follow from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. at the Prosser VFW. We invite all to come and share memories with us as we celebrate J.C.'s life.
