Jeffrey Thomas Sehnert, age 62, entered into rest on August 31, 2014 at Prosser Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 22, 1952 in Spokane, Washington to Maurice and Norma (Homan) Sehnert. He was raised and educated in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School with the Class of 1970. At the age of nineteen he began working for Prosser Pack (currently Lamb Weston) and was currently in his forty-fourth year.
Jeff enjoyed horseback riding, jogging, fishing, brewing beer and motorcycling and boating. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Jaycees and the Tennessee Walkers Horse Association.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Lynda Sehnert of Prosser; his sons, Jeff and Rose Sehnert of Sunnyside and Chad Sehnert of Prosser; his sisters, Kathy Cagle and husband, Dave; Debbie Thomas and husband, Randy and Connie Womack, all of Grandview; his half-sister, Vicki McCowan and husband, Dan of Everett; his stepsons, Randy and Shannon Jones and Buddy and Samantha Schembri of Prosser; his grandchildren, Ashleyn, Brandon, Justin, Marianna, Heather, Mason, Tiffanne, Braxton and Mason; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Bella. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Jim; and his granddaughter, Emily.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 6th at Prosser Funeral Home and Graveside Services at 11:00 in the Prosser Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Prosser Funeral Home
