Ivan Pacheco, age 22 of Prosser, entered into rest on March 14, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on November 3, 1989 to Bernardo and Maria (Atilano) Pacheco in Prosser, Washington where he was raised and educated. After graduating from Prosser High School in 2008 he attended Perry Tech in Yakima and graduated with a Mechanic’s Degree in 2009. He then went to work for ConAgra in Patterson.
Ivan enjoyed D-jaying, music, dancing the shuffle, working on cars, playing X-Box and hanging out with his friends and family. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and had served as an altar boy.
Ivan is survived by his parents, Bernardo and Maria Pacheco; his brother, Misael Pacheco; his grandmother, Filomena Atilano, all of Prosser; his uncles, Rodrigo Pacheco, Jorge Pacheco and Juan Pacheco, all of Mexico and Camerino Atilano, Victor Atilano and Oscar Atilano, all of Prosser; his aunts, Socorro Pacheco of Mexico and Marina Garcia of Prosser; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricardo Pacheco; his grandfather, Jose Atilano; his grandmother, Cirila Pacheco Torres; his uncle, Jose Atilano; and his cousin, Ricardo Garcia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prosser. Concluding services and burial will follow at the Prosser Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:30 on Sunday, March 18 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation is scheduled for
