Heleodoro Climaco Salazar

Heleodoro Climaco Salazar, age 61, of Prosser, entered into rest on April 8, 2020 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. He was born to Cristobal & Anita (Salazar) Climaco in El Espino, Nayarit, Mexico where he lived for ten years until the family moved to Tijuana, Mexico. Five years later, the family moved to Los Angeles, California. On October, 12, 1985 he married Maria F. Pena in Okanogan, Washington. The couple made their home in Prosser in 1992.
Heleodoro worked as a farm laborer and also delivered newspapers for the Prosser Record Bulletin. He loved raising farm animals such as goats and cows and being outdoors, enjoying the sunshine. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Heleodoro is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Maria Climaco of Prosser; his children, Patricia Cantor, Osbaldo Climaco, Julian Climaco, Susana Marquez and Francisco Climaco; brothers, Gil Salazar, Juan Carlos Yanez, and Catalina Aguirre; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Salazar.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
