Harry A. Onishi, beloved husband of Alice Onishi, Passed away on March 28, 2014 in Grandview, WA at the age of 79. He was born on November 18, 1934 in Paul, Idaho.
The second youngest of 10 children from Tom and Sue Onishi, Harry attending high school in Burly, Idaho and graduated in 1952. He obtained his Electrical Engineering degree and MBA degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology 1956 and 1963, respectively.
Harry had a long, distinguished career at Commonwealth Edison where he eventually retired as the Division Vice-President for the Western Division. He moved with his wife Alice to SaddleBrooke Adult Community in Tucson in 1992. Following the death of his wife in 2013, he relocated to Grandview, WA.
He is survived by his siblings – Lillian Ishida, Dorothy Terao, Paul Onishi, and Robert Onishi. By his children – Leslie Boydston (daughter) and Steve Onishi (son). And by his grandchildren – Nick Boydston, Andy Boydston, Alex Onishi, and Alanna Onishi.
