Ethel Mae Sizemore (Walker) was born on July 16, 1928 to Francis and Anna (Gabriel) Walker in Prosser, Washington and passed away on June 22, 2018 in Sacramento, California.
Ethel attended high school in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School Class of 1947. She was one of the members of the Prosser High School Girls Championship Basketball Team of 1947. That same year she married Floyd Sizemore, her lifetime partner and husband of 54 years. They moved to Sacramento California in the early 1950’s and remained there until their deaths.
Ethel enjoyed family, homemaking, gardening, cooking, basketball, bowling, and playing cards. She was known for being very competitive playing card games and board games.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Anna Walker, her husband, Floyd Sizemore, and her sisters Grace Walker, Blanche Wolf, Eileen Martin, Lucille Hannaman, Leona Kemp, and Lavina Wiest and her brothers John Walker, Lloyd Walker, Melvin Walker, Howard Walker, and Earl Walker.
Ethel is survived by her son Len Sizemore and his wife, Eden and daughter Joyce Adams and her husband Michael and her grandsons Daniel, Lenard, and Michael Sizemore. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews including 3 times great nieces and nephews.
The viewing and visitation will be held at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday June 30, 2018 at the Prosser Funeral Home, 1220 Sheridan Avenue, Prosser, WA. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm at the Prosser Cemetery at 1601 Paterson Road, Prosser, WA 99350. You may leave a message for the family at www.Prosserfuneralhome.com
