Ella Margaret Meachem, age 97, entered into rest on December 29, 2012 at Royal Vista Nursing Home in Ellensburg. She was born on September 4, 1915 in Alford, North Dakota to Walter and Margaret (Klundt) Herrmann.
She was one of nine children and is survived by two sisters, Faye Brown of North Carolina and Vi Barnes of Salem. She is also survived by two sons, Leslie Meachem of Ellensburg and Steve Meachem of Yucca Valley, California; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roe R. Meachem
At her request, there will be no services.
