Donn William Meyers, 60, of Prosser, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2020 at home with his family.
Donn was born on October 25, 1960 in Richland, Washington to Dave and Gail (Armstrong) Meyers. He was raised and educated in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School with the Class of 1979. Donn married Carolyn “Carrie” Thoms on October 24, 1985 in Prosser. He worked for Milne Fruit Products for thirty-five years until illness forced his retirement in October.
Donn was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and the National Rifle Association. He was an awesome craftsman and made farm tables and hutches which were sold at Gathered Home in Kennewick. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren during many family gatherings and barbeques.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Carrie Thoms of Prosser; five children, Jarred (Marcie) Coffman of Prosser, Heath (Audrey) Coffman of Prosser, Kara (Eric) Lucas of Lamar, Missouri, Donn Ryan (Abbi) Meyers of Richland and Lolli (Claudio) Bobadilia of Prosser; and twenty-three grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Gail Flint of Arizona; sister, Victoria (Victor) Livengood of Arizona; brother, Charles (Leasa) Meyers of Prosser; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Poteet; grandsons, Cash Robert McLain Lucas and Dylan Kenneth Bolt; and his brother, Davy Meyers.
