Debra Lynn Studdard fell asleep in death on March 2, 2013 at her home in Prosser. She was born on February 4, 1956 in Newport Beach, California. She was the fourth child born to Calvin and Pauline (Pullum) Mills.
In 1963, the family moved to Benton City where she was raised and educated. They moved to Prosser in 1971 and she graduated from Prosser High School in 1975. On July 18, 1975 Debby married Marvin Studdard in Prosser where they made their home and raised two sons, Robert and Randy Studdard. Over the years, she worked at the Farm Bureau, as a waitress, at Holtzinger Fruit Company and for the family owned business, Valley Cabinet Shop.
Debby enjoyed riding horses as a young person. She had a love of reading and painting as well as a fondness for collecting and polishing rocks. She had a good time playing hours of pinochle and taking camping trips with her family. One of her greatest joys was being “Mimi” to her two grandchildren! She was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in 1989 and was a member of the Prosser Congregation.
Debby is survived by her husband, Marvin; her sons, Robert Studdard and his wife Audra and Randy Studdard; her grandchildren, Gavin and Ava Studdard; her sisters, Susan Brown and her husband John, all of Prosser and Linda Robinson and her husband John of Richland; her brother, Terry Mills of Prosser; her mother, Pauline Mills of Prosser; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends Mike and Barb Moore, Elsa Villareal, Bob and Carleen Richards, Jeanne Pleake, and Dave and Katie Pleake.
