Betty Jane Clark

d. June 26, 2018

What can you say about Betty? I can give you details about where she was born, where she lived, and who is left behind but that wouldn't tell her story.
Her story is a life full of kindness, decency, and love. She was the best of mothers. It was her who comforted us when we were hurt or disappointed. She was our biggest fan when we played music or sports. If we needed help, she was always there. Even when we needed discipline, it was always delivered with love.
She had lifelong friends she held dear. She was a fearless traveler experiencing the world with the love of her life, Robert. She celebrated and shared her joys and bore her sorrows with dignity.
As she faded in her last years, she never lost her charm. She endured her decline as the strong, proud woman she always was.
We will miss her the rest of our lives and if the stories are true, we will meet again and be wrapped in her love once again.
We thank Sweet Meadows Adult Family Home, where Betty was lovingly cared for. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Chaplaincy Hospice Care, 1480 Fowler Street, Richland, WA 99352.
