Audie Leonard Harvill Jr., age 83, passed away on September 12th, 2014.
He was born on February 17th, 1931 in Mitchell, South Dakota to Audie Leonard Harvill Sr. and Florence Harvill. He made Prosser his home in 1959 and worked in the valley as an auto mechanic. Audie married his wife, Lois Karen in Grandview on August 6th, 1960.
He enjoyed fixing things and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Prosser Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen Harvill; son, Harold Harvill; daughter, Michele Renee’ King; sisters, Linda Lou and Anna Masterson; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by an infant son on March 6, 1961; sisters, Lela Atkins, Ruth Cummings and Mary Reyna; and his brother, Fred Harvill.
Funeral services will be held at Prosser Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 19th. Concluding services and burial will follow in the Prosser Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 18th at Prosser Funeral Home from 3:00-7:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Meals on Wheels c/o the Prosser Senior Center.
